How we handle your personal data.
Privacy policy
The controller for data processing is Trinity Horology, Christian Foidl, sole proprietorship (Einzelfirma) (address see imprint), email: info@trinityhorology.com.
The full privacy policy is loaded by script from our provider PrivacyBee. It appears here as soon as the script runs. Without the script, or if there is a disruption, we will send it to you by email on request.
Photos submitted with a sell request
Trinity Horology is responsible (details in the imprint). If you attach photos to the form «Sell your watch», we use them only to assess your watch for a purchase offer. We process your details to prepare a contract at your request.
Your enquiry with text and contact details is delivered to us by email. It is not stored in a database of the website, but delivery runs through the servers of our hosting and email provider. Before storage the photos are re-encoded (location data and other extra information in the image file are removed) and kept in a private storage at Cloudflare (R2). The email contains only a link to view the photos, no attachment.
Only the owner has access, through a protected login (Cloudflare Access). The photos are deleted automatically after 30 days.
To prevent abuse, Cloudflare Turnstile checks the form and the number of requests is limited. In doing so, and when running the website, Cloudflare processes technical data such as IP address and browser details. Cloudflare, Inc. (USA) acts as a processor; data may also be processed in the USA and other countries. This is based on Cloudflare's data processing agreement, its certification under the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses adapted for Switzerland.
You can request information about your data or earlier deletion at any time through the contact address info@trinityhorology.com, unless a legal retention obligation applies.
Reviews
If you send a review through the form «Write a review», we process your text, your name (first name and initial), the optional star rating, the language, the month and the time of your consent. We do not ask for an email address and do not store an IP address with the review.
Until we decide, the review is kept in a private storage at Cloudflare (R2). We are notified by email. Only the owner has access, through a protected login (Cloudflare Access). If we reject the review or do not decide, it is deleted automatically after 30 days at the latest.
If we approve the review, it appears word for word with first name and initial (and its stars, if given) on our website until you withdraw your consent. The legal basis is your consent. We publish a selection based on fixed criteria: a genuine purchase or sale with us, no offensive or unlawful content, no details about other people. We never change the text.
Withdrawal, information or deletion: write to info@trinityhorology.com. After a withdrawal we remove the review promptly. It disappears after the next automatic rebuild of the website. We keep only a record of our decision, without the content of the review.
Cloudflare, Inc. (USA) runs our website and the storage as a processor. Data may also be processed in the USA and other countries.
